Comprehensive Smoking Cessation Program 

Quiting smoking can be a difficult task. But once you are determined to kick the habit, success will depend on the proper support and resources to help you permanently change your lifestyle. This unique personalized program will combine the most effective smoking cessation strategies along with exercise to reduce the anxiety and the weight gain associated with nicotine withdrawl and improve your chances of success

 

The program includes:

• Private consult of 1,5 hour to plan your individualised, safe and effective program
• 36 supervised exercise session 2 to 3 times per week supervised by our kinesiologists
• Pre and Post computerized cardiovascular age and risk assessment prior to the start of the program
  and at the end to assess your risk of developing cardiovascular disease.
• On-site counselling sessions with our nurse once a month over the four-month program (a total of 2.5 hours)
• Access to the myhealthcheckup.ca ehealth site to track your progress
• On-going education
SCHEDULE: one hour classes are offered on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday with a ratio of 8 participants for 1 kinesiologist

All our supervised programs start with a medical evaluation and a stress test if needed. Follow-ups for 1 year upon completion of program are also available. All medical visits are covered by RAMQ.
